A friend of mine has been listening to 40-48Hz binaural beats every day for about a week now, and he's not taking any supplements or nootropics. He's been blown away by the results,he feels it's way more effective than just a placebo.
He's experiencing sharper focus, quicker reflexes, better memory, heightened creativity, and fewer emotional distractions. It's definitely not the same as a caffeine rush, instead, he describes it as having clearer and faster mental processes. He's also finding it easier to get up in the morning.
To create these pure binaural tones, he uses a program called BWGen rather than settling for the compressed audio that's on YouTube. He likes to mix up the base frequencies but keeps the binaural difference consistently around 40Hz.
The only drawback he's noted is that if he listens too close to bedtime, it can make it harder for him to fall asleep.
I'm curious, has anyone else tried high-frequency binaural entrainment like this? What's been your experience? Any other tools you'd suggest apart from BWGen?
