Friend’s experience with high-frequency binaural beats

A friend of mine has been listening to 40-48Hz binaural beats every day for about a week now, and he's not taking any supplements or nootropics. He's been blown away by the results,he feels it's way more effective than just a placebo.

He's experiencing sharper focus, quicker reflexes, better memory, heightened creativity, and fewer emotional distractions. It's definitely not the same as a caffeine rush, instead, he describes it as having clearer and faster mental processes. He's also finding it easier to get up in the morning.

To create these pure binaural tones, he uses a program called BWGen rather than settling for the compressed audio that's on YouTube. He likes to mix up the base frequencies but keeps the binaural difference consistently around 40Hz.

The only drawback he's noted is that if he listens too close to bedtime, it can make it harder for him to fall asleep.

I'm curious, has anyone else tried high-frequency binaural entrainment like this? What's been your experience? Any other tools you'd suggest apart from BWGen?

That's awesome your friend's seeing such great results! I don't have much knowledge about high frequency binaurals but heard that some noticed the same results especially during deep work sessions.

Haven't tried BWGen yet, but I've heard good things. Some also mentioned Gnaural or SBaGen if you're looking for alternatives.

I've tried 40Hz binaural beats and totally get the sharper focus feeling not like caffeine, more like your brain is fixed in. Haven't used BWGen, but apps like Brain.fm work well but avoid listening too close to bedtime, sleep is messed up for me too.

I gave 40Hz a shot for a few days and it definitely helped with staying in the zone while working. I really haven't tried BWGen, I haven't tried Brain.fm as well like @Nuel.vacho here is suggesting but BrainWave 35 works pretty well for me. :)) Try it out :)

@n3uron7weaker I've messed around with 40Hz tracks too and the focus boost feels real, especially for long study sessions. I'd just say keep an eye on sleep patterns since overstimulation at night can sneak up on you.
